Hiya! Today, I thought you might like to hear about the five very worthy children’s projects that received grants from us this financial quarter.
In the UK, our funding enabled the purchase of play equipment for both the London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy, and the KPS Trebullom Centre in the South West who work with children affected by HIV.
We also covered transportation costs for disabled children to attend Easter and summer breaks in Woodingdean Brighton, and for a London student to work with underprivileged children in Peru.
Overseas, we provided funding for a youth leader for the Musicians Without Borders project in Rwanda. I always get a warm feeling inside when I hear how the Starr Trust’s fundraising directly benefits children in great need.
