Oliver Musical at Theatre Royal Raises Over £2300 for the Starr Trust!

In February, Brighton Theatre Group’s production of Oliver Twist was a sell out at the prestigious Theatre Royal Brighton, receiving rave reviews for its success. Brighton Theatre Group chose to support the Starr Trust through collections from the audience, promotion on Brighton & Hove Buses and in their show programme.

Their production of much loved classic Oliver at one of the oldest theatres in the country, featured such favourites as Consider Yourself, Where is Love, You’ve Got To Pick a Pocket or Two and As Long as He Needs me – It’s  A Fine Life!

Chairman of Brighton Theatre Group, Keith Shepherd said:

“A huge pleasure to once again support the incredible Starr Trust whose generosity to make young people’s dreams come true is one of the most worthwhile charities and a charity that we are delighted and proud to continually support.”

Fundraising Manager of the Starr Trust, Tracey Starr said:

“We’re so grateful to Keith and the whole cast for choosing to support us and raise awareness of our charity. We’re delighted the production was such a hit and look forward to seeing what’s next from Brighton Theatre Group! Simply amazing, thank you so much”.
