Starr Trust cycling team pedal sky high on Brighton i360 with Daley Thompson

Olympic Gold Medallist Daley Thompson CBE joined cyclists and business sponsors on Weds 15th February to create awareness for the upcoming Bristol to Brighton Bike Ride in aid of the Starr Trust.

Registration to take part in the cycling challenge is open now for bookings of cyclists wishing to take part in the four-day Bristol to Brighton Bike Ride which will take place between 8th-11th June 2023. Cyclists of all abilities will take on the challenge of cycling approximately 220miles, split across three overnight hotel stays, with an option of including a lap of the Isle of Wight on the way home!

Friend of the Starr Trust and Founder of DaleyFitness, Daley Thompson CBE said: “Never has it been more important to stay fit & healthy! I always believe exercise should be accessible for all, and the Starr Trust bike ride challenge offers just that with its three-tiered cycling groups to cater for all levels. If you are looking for a way to get fit and have fun this year with a fantastic bunch of people, then I urge you to get involved and do yourself proud.”

Rosie Molloy, Fundraising Manager for the Starr Trust said: “A series of training sessions and group meet ups will be organised over the coming months leading up to the challenge. Anyone who is interested in finding out more is welcome to come along and should follow on Social Media to find out dates and locations of training rides and team building meet ups. Or can register their interest by emailing me at: rosie@starrtrust.org

All fundraising through this challenge will go directly to support young people in need of help from the charity.

Special thanks to the kind business sponsors without whom the fundraising challenge would not be possible;

The Implant Centre, Gardner & Scardifield, Rubix VT and Brighton i360.
